Book 3 in the Mysteries of Crisálida Cross
In Demarenys, even the quiestest days can hide a secret.
In this third instalment, Crisálida, Mireia and Clara go along to listen to the Christmas carol choir in which Justo and Joanna sing. It’s the last rehearsal of the season, before they set off to bring their carols to the streets of Demarenys.
During the rehearsal, Marcelino, the choir’s conductor, dies.
Cris discovers that Marcelino had no shortage of detractors. Together with her colleagues from the Crime Club and a good carrot cake, they set out to find out whether his death was a tragic accident, or whether someone made sure of it.
